This wine was crafted using the long fermentation method. With no additional herbs or spices, a kilogram of poached quince fruit has been used for every litre of wine produced. Bottled unfiltered, a liqueur full of flavor with nuances of quince jelly and membrillo. Great for drinking now. Definitely not cloying, it does have a slightly drier finish when compared with our Holmwood Quince Dessert wine. Enjoy as an aperitif chilled from the fridge in summer or after dinner with your favorite soft cheese. No grapes have been used in this fruit wine.
