Silver medal winner at Australian Fruit Wine Show 2019 (Hobart). The fourth wine released under ourHolmwood label, Grandad's Favourite TawnyPlum is rich, complex and flavourful like a well-made plum pudding at Christmas time. With 90% of this wine vintaged in 1993, the name says it all andlike the proof of the pudding, the proof of thiswine is in the drinking! Great fortified wine to follow any great meal and one that Grandad will certainly appreciate. Difficult to stop at just one or two glasses though.

Hints of marzipan. Similar to a port with characteristic plum flavours. I have found the Matthews Fruit Wines range to be classic boutique wines that have obviously been crafted by a highly discerning artisan. Each wine has a clean finish
