About this product
Meet Anything Gose
Pronounced as “go-zuh”
Our Raspberry Sour Salty session brew
A traditional “old school” style that dates back to the year 1000 (That’s really really, really old school btw) but it wasn’t until the 1700s that the style really kicked off in its traditional home country of, you guessed it, Germany. It’s usually created using wheat, coriander, and salt.
Brewed by Ironhouse using European Pils & Vienna malt with a touch of Perle Hops, and top-fermenting sour yeasts, we added fresh Tasmanian raspberries from just down the road (We taste-tested them thoroughly first of course) and then added the final ingredient, most important to the style…. Salt
But where did we get the salt from, you ask? Straight out of the ocean, right off the front of the brewery!
Yep, this little tasty tipple has a little bit of the Tasman Sea in it!
The perfect amount of ocean salt-to-water ratio has brought a beautiful balance of salty sweet and sour, to the palate.
It’s bloody lovely, cracking in fact. A fantabulous, refreshingly sterling and top-shelf stuff, even if we do say so ourselves
