Ripe pear and peach on the nose, with notes of grapefruit and lime and citrus pith, followed by a typical green almond finish on the palate. This wine has zippy & crisp acidity. Handpicked fruit was chilled and crushed, and racked before fermentation in stainless tank, and a small portion was put to seasoned oak barriques. The barrel portion adds complexity to the final blend yet keeping the zesty characters of classic Sardinian Vermentino. RRP $26
