There is more new wood on this cuvee, bridling greater intensity of flavours and ageworthiness. Hand plunged, before spending nine-months in French barriques, this is a pointed cabernet of well alloyed ball-bearing tannins melding with the cedar oak spice to coat the mouth. Behind lies currant, pastille, olive and bay leaf, to be liberated further with time in the cellar. This is excellent. Drink by 2028.
