The grapes from the small vineyard in the Light Pass region of the Barossa Valley were hand picked early in the morning to preserve freshness.

​The wine was carefully open fermented before matured for 18 months in 6 French oak hogshead barrels. 

Intense plum and dark blackberry characters, dark chocolate and some black pepper. Powerful but well integrated oak and a smooth finish.
