About this product

Sourced from the a single block on the Curator vineyard in Marananga on the west side of the Barossa Valley and hand made by vigneron and winemaker Tom White.

The wine displays classic Cabernet Sauvignon characters including dark blackcurrent fruit, well integrated oak and an extremely smooth finish. Restrained power from an extremely elegant wine out of the 2013 vintage which provided an ideal growing season for Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon.

Only 1400 bottles produced.

For those interested in the winemaking:

The hand-picked grapes had a two to three day cold soak then naturally fermented using indigenous yeasts. The ferment was hand plunged two to three times daily for approximately ten days. Then basket pressed and filled into 100% French oak for three weeks barrel fermentation followed by 24 months maturation.
