Vignerons ArdéchoisGamay 2019
About this product
One variety suits the exuberance of the summer season perfectly : gamay. As the weather warms, lighter, fresher reds like gamay appeal. It displays a succulence of fruit, moderate tannins, as well as a refreshing and bright acidity. This cuvée from the Archeche mountain region embodies all the best characteristics of Gamay : cherry red color, fruity nose, and on the mouth, a fruit crush of fresh red fruits, strawberries and redcurrants. Named after the travel of Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson across the Cévennes mountains with his donkey Modestine, this crowd-pleaser is a supple and fruity wine to share with your friends over some cold cuts, cheeses and cheers.
