Les Amoureuses (“The Lovers”)

Les Amoureuses (literally – “The Lovers”) is settled on the right bank of the Rhône in France. Its name stems from a legend in which the young villagers came to gather by a romantic stream running nearby the vines of the castle. This award winning 100% Shiraz / Syrah expresses complex and typical aromas of the grape variety: violet, jasmine, blackberry, green pepper and liquorice as well as a touch of leather and smoke. The mouth is round with a fragrant and long finish marked by fine tannins. Fruit abundance, sheer drinkability, fine tannins and a promising name, definitely a crowd-pleasing wine.
