Grand Bateau is vinified in the state of the art, matching traditional winemaking and modern technics. The master blending marrying, parcels vinified in oak barrels and parcels vinified traditionally in vats,gives to the wine suppleness and exquisite vanilla hints. Expressive nose of ripe red fruits (plums, ripe cassis …), spices and with an elegant touch of new oak. On the palate, the wine is immediately harmonious and seductive with velvety ripe-fruit flavours wonderfully cradled by the new–oak. Medium bodied with ripe tannins and a savoury finish. Perfect for drinking now and ideally over the next few years.
