A light ruby. Luminescent. Made by Rollo Crittenden, his gentle touch manifest in the wine's detail. A nice drink. Sappy. Chalky. Light and fresh, but a purity of fruit on display that neither overreaches, nor strays into New World sweetness: bing cherry, satsuma plum and root spice, corralled by well appointed French oak tannins.
