About this product

Our vines produce powerfully fragrant fruit which we work hard to showcase in the bottle. The relative warmth of our site means that the perfume is in the red berry, blackcurrant spectrum (cassis), and ensures a wine of charm that will age very well, with pronounced but even and round tannins. A moderate hand has been applied to ensure that oak and typical Cabernet structure are present but subtle and play a secondary role to the grapes themselves. A graceful sleep (12 months) in fine expensive French oak barrels.
Cabernet is King! Many wine lovers would say so - and we won’t disagree. One of the world’s great grapes, it is powerful yet fragrant, seriously tannic yet with allure and richness. One complex beastie? Yep!
A highly accoladed wine every year, the 2018 is one of those great vintages with aging potential of 10 years or more.
