Dry, Full Bodied style of MontepulcianoBarossa Valley, AustraliaMontepulciano originates from central Italy and it is very much a 'modern Mediterranean' red, produced from our Western Ridge soils, our third Montepulciano is from the standout 2019 vintage.
Very much true to type but with an extra degree of depth due to increased vineyard maturity. Ability to retain acid with strong tannin, it can cellar for 8-10 years.
How do we describe it... Berries and cherries, full bodied with crunchy tannin, fresh with bright crimson colour, absolutely delicious!
