Bringing together Spanish, Italian and French varieties, to provide the perfection of a Mediterranean blend. The spice, red berries and flesh of Tempranillo. The cherry, floral aroma, and structure of Sangiovese. Then a tiny dash of Shiraz for richness.
There is a synergy with the co-fermentation of the low acid Tempranillo and the high acid Sangiovese. A small amount of Shiraz is later blended for softening the tannins. It’s bright red in colour; perfumed on the nose and rewarding on the palate.
The 2018 vintage is a cracker. Matured in aged oak for 8 months and terrific drinking all year round. Great with pasta, chorizo or your favourite curry.
This wine is one of our best restaurant sellers and in warmer months can be drunk slightly chilled. Drink now or up to four years from vintage.
