Kurayoshi is a new whisky brand introduced in 2016 by Maatsui distillery. The distillery is located in Tottori, a coastal prefecture on southern Honshu, characterised by aging with pure undergroud waters of the Daisen Mountains. The Kurayoshi Pure Malt is aged in sherry casks for more than three years, resulting in a refined drink that balances sweetness and acidity very well.
