Dry, Medium Bodied style of SyrahPairs well with LambPépé's Béret - an exclusive commission by Daniel Airoldi in honour of his beloved Pépé, who tended his Sainte-Macaire vineyard with his faithful pony Pompon. This Syrah sings from the glass with its fully ripe grapes that have in part had hot skin contact maceration to enhance the aromatic profile of the wine. Some of the juices stay in contact with oak, adding complexity to the wine. The end result is a most charming Cuvée.
