Pépé's Béret - an exclusive commission by Daniel Airoldi in honour of his beloved Pépé, who tended his Sainte-Macaire vineyard with his faithful pony Pompon. Our Chadonnay is matured in French Oak following its short maceration and gentle pressing. Periodic stiring promotes the wines velvety mouthfeel. The Mediterranean climate of the region combines hot, dry summers with the Black Mountains cool humidity, perfect ingredients for maturity, reflected in this crisp, smooth wine.
