About this product

Tempranillo is a variety native to Spain, it is a “newer” addition to the Australian wine scene. Bright, fleshy, and fun. A mid-weight palate brimming with red summer berries, dark cherry and blackcurrant notes. A voluptuous, mouth filling medium boded wine that presents an acacia like chewy tannin.

We source this alternative variety from our good friends at Wirrega vineyards near Bordertown in the Limestone Coast. The 2018 vintage is 100% wild ferment, where we used only the naturally occurring yeast present in the surrounds to complete the fermentation. Matured in French barriques for 12 months.
