DOWIE DOOLE Estate McLaren Vale Shiraz Fruit from Tatachilla and Blewitt Springs. Matured for 21 months in French and American hogsheads, 15% new. Blueberry, blackberry and blood plum provide a bounty of dark fruit aromas and flavours with toasty oak adding some subtle complexity. It's rich and supple on the palate, really quite generous, but gently firm tannin maintains the form and structure. Steven Creber Published 01 August 2019
