About this product

Named after Marnie’s Great Uncle Jim. A very caring and loving man who quietly went on his way showing great strength of character. This wine matches him perfectly. Held back in barrel to mature for another year, this wine sat in oak for 28 months. After looking at it after 18 months, the raw power of this wine was far too big and it was decided to age slightly prior to bottling so the drinker could enjoy in its bottled youth.

The nose shows Mulberries and blue berries with lightly spiced vanilla. Interestingly, hints of granite and mineral sneak in. Blood plum with a touch of oregano fill in the plush, plump palate. Succulent, savoury and elegant, this Montepulciano typifies this delicious variety.

Analysis: Alcohol 14.0%, pH 3.5, No additions other than sulfur. Vegan friendly.
