About this product

Vineyard:
Riesling from 76 year old vines, grown in the Cactus Vineyard, situated between Eden Valley and Craneford in the Eden Valley Region. The vines are grown in sandy/loam soils at an altitude of 460m.

Winemaking:
The grapes are  hand harvested and bunch sorted to remove impurities by hand, and whole bunch pressed into chilled stainless tanks for settling. Pressings are not included. The juice is racked after one week and fermented cool to retain freshness and aromatic integrity. The wine was clarified and racked immediately post fermentation, then held cold for six months to achieve stability prior to bottling.
