Hugh HamiltonThree Card Monte Shiraz Cabernet Montepulciano
About this product
Australia has always excelled in creating red blends – merging classic European varieties in un-thought of ways to create unthinkably good new combinations. Cabernet and Shiraz are one such classic collision; Bordeaux meets the Rhone. It’s only Australian to add a slab of Abruzzo too.
Bouquet:
Exotic interplay of violets, iodine, thyme, and iron. Blueberries, raspberries, dark cherries, plums, and pink lady apples. Red liquorice, and brown sugar.
Palate:
The textured palate is heavy weight and a heavy hitter with incredible length. This three-card is compelling and delicious. A sure bet.
Food Match:
Smoked BBQ Brisket – or pretty much anything big and hearty.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
