Wild yeast-fermented, 5% whole bunch, macerated on skins for two weeks then basket pressed, and matured in seasoned oak has resulted in a densely packed wine with a near-unlimited future. I might have preferred a gentler touch, but not the judges at the Barossa Wine Show '12 where it won two trophies including the Fuller Trophy for Most Outstanding Single Vineyard Wine (and a gold medal at the Australian Small Winemakers Show '12).
