The colour is still vibrant, though with less purple than that of the Raj's Pick; open fermented, basket pressed after extended skin maceration and maturation in new and seasoned French and American oak has resulted in an elegant medium-bodied wine with spicy/savoury elements to its plum and black cherry fruit, the tannins exceptionally fine. A tribute to a great vintage.
