Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris 2024

This Pinot Gris is a medium bodied style wine harvested over 3 separate nights and different ripeness then blended together to make a specific style. A small batch of Gewurztraminer was fermented with one batch of Gris that also had exposure to its skins overnight to give it the touch of copper. The wine spent close to 6 months on lees and was stirred fortnightly to accentuate the mid palate texture. The wine has crunchy red apple, citrus oils nashi pear, quince paste (think Maggie Beer quince paste), floral notes and fresh lime acidity aromas and palate flavours. Perfect for a summer drink or a lovely meals with friends!
