A medium bodied cool-climate Adelaide Hills Shiraz that dispalys all of the charcteristics of a classic French Rhone red. Hand picked, small batch fermentation from our close planted Shiraz block (4,444 vine per hecatre - as suggested by Brian Crosser) block has produced a wine with lots of spice, sweet bberries and a hint of cedar.

Medium bodied red wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Full-on spice and ripe fruit are the essence of this wine. Pepper, cloves, cedar, orange peel and blackberry are just some of the aromas that jump out of the glass. The combination of strongly savoury and sweeter berried flavours feels a bit confused at present, but it has the substance to develop in an interesting way.
