Tarkine Single Malt Whisky 500mL

Produced using barley grain grown at Lawrenny Estate and combined with the freshwaters of the upper River Derwent, Tarking has been matured in a combination of Port and Sherry casks for a little over 6 years.
The unique pine aroma of Huon Pine provides a lift to the underlying earthy notes of roasted malt, salted pistachio and stewed apricot. The palate is like a walk through the temperate rainforest, notes of wet slate mingle with heathery smoke. Sarsaparilla, peppermint and pumpernickel bread remind us of this whisky's fortified base on the mid and back palate as lingering peat caps off the experience.
Bottled at 50% ABV, Tarkine is a bold experiences, beautifully balanced and perfectly presented.
