The brilliance and bright vitality of Frankland shiraz in a very good year is well to the fore in this excellent wine. Pepper and spicy red fruit notes on the nose are the first indication of something special. The palate is smooth and plush with fine, chalky tannin and a little oak supporting the concentrated fruit.
