2016 saw the first vintage of the Bird in Hand Syrah, made exclusively from the Bird in Hand estate vineyard in Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.
This wine is bright in colour, with vivid purple hues. Intense, lifted, aromatics include blackberry, violet, dried herb, and spice. The palate shows juicy fruit weight, with the silky, slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity adding structure and driving length.
