More than enough oomph but with spice and herb notes aplenty. This is a cake-and-eat-it style in the most positive of ways. It tastes of black cherries and plums, woody spices, toasty oak and blossomy herbs. Tannin curls ably through the finish. It feels soft throughout. It's a very good offering.
