Vintage
In the first flush of youth, this young wine is more Hunter-regional than strongly indicative of its varietal make-up. There's a nice leathery savouriness to it, raspberry pastille and plum fruit mixes in well, oak is restrained. There's plenty of very ripe fruit-sweet flavour, with sandy, drying tannins woven through a middleweight palate.
