Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2016

The grapes for this wine were harvested at full maturity and optimum ripeness to ensure no overripe characters crept into the finished product. The style of this wine is fresh, fruit-forward and easy-drinking, and it displays all the varietal character expected of wines that sit under the Shottesbrooke label. Conventional winemaking techniques were judiciously undertaken before fining and bottling under screwcap to preserve the character and protect from cork taint.

Deep red with cherry red hues, upfront aromas of delightfully fresh red berry fruit, with subtle notes of spicy vanillin oak. Approachable, soft and balanced, this wine shows complex flavours of ripe berry fruit and dark cherry, with subtle hints of dark chocolate and a fine, lingering finish
