Mansfield Riesling 2018

All of our Riesling was hand-picked and then whole bunch pressed in early April. After settling in tank for a short time it was then wild fermented in tank with a small component (10%) being fermented in large oak (500L Puncheons). It has a wonderfully aromatic nose of blossom with hints of lemon. The palate shows more lemon and a wonderful clean acidity running down the tongue. The finish is clean and the lemon blossom characters come through on the back of the palate. It’s hard to wrong when you match Riesling with freshly shucked oysters or alternatively a pan fried fillet of Snapper. Cellar for 10 years plus.
