palate full bodied, fine tannins with plush blueberry core and earthy complexity. 
vinification fruit is harvested and gently destemmed to our fermenters. the wine receives regular pump overs and ‘rack and returns’ to ensure an even temperature and desirable level of colour and tannin extraction. daily tastings of the ferment ensure the wine develops perfectly. after 21 days on skins, the fruit is pressed and aged in french oak barrels for 15 months.
cellaring will benefit from careful cellaring for up to 8 years.

the black label cabernet sauvignon is another great red wine from the frankland river region. it has amazing depth of both colour and flavour and the intensity of flavour expected from a quality cabernet sauvignon.
serve at room temperature 18c.
food grilled lamb racks or a hearty beef stew.
