A riesling and gewurztraminer blend. We found that the riesling portion dominates with a green tinge, pure blossom nose, lime notes, rose petal, bickfords cordial flavours, lovely freshness, chalky phenolic edge and a long orange tang finish.

It is of course almost entirely made with riesling though there''s a lick of gew?rztraminer included here. A trick of the riesling trade. Dry-style rather than mere ''dry'' means that there is some sweetness here, it''s just minute. It was enough to have me looking back at the bottle to see if I''d accidentally poured the ''off-dry'' version. It''s floral for sure, citrussy, gently textural, and exceptionally easy to hook into. There''s a lemon sorbet note to the finish but this is a soft, pretty white wine with dim sum lunch written all over it.
