FerngroveKing Malbec 2017
About this product
Rare to find a straight varietal Malbec from the cool climate Great Southern, Ferngrove originally planted Malbec in Frankland River in 1998, with the first King Malbec produced in 2001. Highly aromatic with subtle spice and white pepper characters followed by a plush mulberry and plum palate, this is a modern take on a traditional Bordeaux grape. As the name suggests, the King Spider-Orchid is one of the largest growing species and is the common name for the flower on our label.
