The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon with a generous, luscious mid palate of dark berries and liquorice. Robust tannins support the fruit and add a final layer of chocolate and tobacco box on the finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Here's a Frankland River Cabernet that is simply delicious. The vivid plum, cassis and red fruit notes are pure, succulent and glide effortlessly across the tongue. The pure fruit expression produced in wines from this making are striking. Yet another great Ferngrove effort!
