The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon with a generous, luscious mid palate of dark berries and liquorice. Robust tannins support the fruit and add a final layer of chocolate and tobacco box on the finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Cabernet sauvignon and Frankland River. So often a good combination. You'd have to say this cuts a pretty good groove. It has good power, good purity of fruit, feels soft-enough as it progresses through the mouth and seals the deal convincingly through the finish. It tastes essentially of blackcurrant, bay leaves and resiny vanilla, the overall effect balanced and attractive. There's a smoky/rubbery note but it doesn’t detract from the whole.
