Deep, bright purple/red colour, impressive for a young merlot, the aroma fresh and young, herbal and plummy with summer berry aromas that are clean and straightforward. Some greenness. It's the same in the mouth, where there's a grip of firm, furry tannin that builds through the palate's progression. Sweet fruit, grapy, simple and pleasant, and it has the backbone to partner food.
