Beer has been brewed on this monastic site since the 1500s. The current owners are third generation master brewers. Brewed to the exacting guidelines of the German purification Laws ( Reinheitsgebot), this natural finished wheat beer is brewed with rich hops giving a fresh and lively character.

I have purchase several cartons of this over the past six months. Good thing about good german hefeweizen, they are excellent even past their best before date. Make sure the sediment is mixed in thoroughly if around the best before date. A
