The GlenturretTriple Wood 700mL
About this product
Triple Wood is a continuation of our history, part of the old range and reborn in the new.
A thoughtful combination of European and American Sherry Oak casks alongside Bourbon barrels gives a light and subtle whisky showcasing the sweet, fruity style of our new make spirit – the starting point of the journey for all our single malts.
The three cask types have carefully nurtured the spirit, adding a depth of character and a rich, golden colour.
Tasting Notes: Aged in American and European sherry casks and bourbon barrels, sweet fruit and caramel flirt with sticky ginger cake and vanilla, maturing oak and light spices look on with interest from the sidelines.
-Bob Dalgarno, The Glenturret Whisky Maker
About the Distillery: As Scotlands oldest working distillery, The Glenturret Distillery has an extraordinary provenance that is second to none in Scottish whisky. This provenance is built on an unparalleled history. With dedication to traditional handcrafted Whisky Making, slow batch production, and an unusually slow distillation in hand-beaten copper stills combine to influence and underpin the unique character of the new make spirit. It is a spirit that will work with the wood, not against it; a spirit shaped by hand and heart.
