The team at Amrut Distilleries travelled to the Portuguese Madeira Islands, off the coast of Africa, to handpick barrels which had aged the right type of Madeira to complement Amrut’s signature characteristic whiskies.
On the nose, almonds (perhaps marzipan) wrapped up in toffee with coconut shavings. Complemented by vanilla pods and golden syrup.
Palate will find almond cake, sweet orange, toffee with a fruity tease, velvety.
Citrus finish with a hint of toffee and a refreshing end.
