About this product

Deep straw in colour with a slight green hue, the wine has aromas of white flowers and oatmeal; surrounding a citrus backbone. The wine is very textured, with layers built around the natural acid that is a result of early picking. This wine was fermented using wild yeasts in old French oak barriques, followed by a further wild malolactic fermentation. It was bottled without fining or filtration.

This is an amazing wine. So clean no creamy on the pallet. Great value and highly recommend. The only downside is they will eventually run out of 2011

This was my first try of this wine and I really enjoyed it. I found the flavours to be quite subtle with nothing overbearing. It was gentle and lingering which suited me. Was very happy with the special price.

The wine was not as good as I expected nor was it as described. I was looking for an old style chardonnay with lots of buttery, smooth, yeasty-cashew like characteristics to the palate but this failed to deliver, despite it's description.

A mineral style. Light and almost spritzy. Am normally looking for chardonnay to be buttery and oaky.
