This Italian varietal is seductive and smooth where much of its appeal lies in its wonderfully generous fruit profile and bright acidity, making it an excellent match with an array of food.
Dark cherry, crushed violets and subtle leafy notes lead beautifully to the fleshy, rich palate. Supple tannins wrap around dark fruit with hints of cinnamon spice and chocolate lingering on the finish.
