Deep rich red

BOUQUET:                         

Spicy, peppery fruit aromas are integrated with herbal and floral overtones with a hint of vanilla.

PALATE:                             

The palate shows the generosity of this wine.  The blackberry fruit and spicy oak combine to give a rich, firm structure with a hint of dark chocolate, leather and tobacco.

VITICULTURE:                 

Low yielding fruit grown on Haan Estate vineyard

WINEMAKING/MATURATION:              

Fermented  using  a  selected  yeast  to  enhance the fruit characters.  The maturation in French oak barriques for 24 months before bottling has given the wine an added spiciness to produce a fully rounded, premium wine.
