The palate is dominated by upfront plum fruits and balanced by complex spices and herbs. The oak provides a smokey, dusty oak finish with fine, silky tannins.
VITICULTURE:
Low yielding fruit grown on Haan Estate vineyard
WINEMAKING/MATURATION
Each variety is picked at its own distinct maturity so maximizing the flavor. Individual oak selection is tailored for each variety, using a combination of new and once used French oak barriques. Matured for 24 months prior to a detailed blending exercise to ensure the desired complexity in the finished wine.
