Shiraz is clearly a standout among red varieties in the region and this vibrant, mid-weighted wine showcases the reasons: violet scents segue to a sash of anise, menthol, iodine and cardamom-soused tannins, encasing giddy flavours of blueberry, satsuma plum and bing cherry. Each element slots mellifluously into the jigsaw of balance. Fermented with 20% whole-clusters, the recipe is spot on for the vintage.
