Free-run and pressings kept separate, a small percentage of the free-run wild-fermented in French oak. No colour development; has real traction and grip (in the best sense); sticky acidity unusual but very attractive, a by-product of the barrel fermentation and retention of 4g/l residual sugar.

Very light, almost pale colour. Very fresh, youthful, intense and tight aromas of lemon and lime, remarkably under-developed for its age. The palate is high in acid but also slightly off-dry, the two managing to balance each other. Very attractive, juicy even, the finish showing line and length and seamless harmony. This should have a long and bright career.
