Jeanneret WinesOld Vine Grenache 2014
About this product
After Riesling, my favourite variety is Grenache and that’s because it’s so versatile and can be crafted into so many different styles.
This wine is right at the far end of the savoury spectrum but it’s spicy too. Its bursting with aromas of cinnamon, cloves and a good splash of fine French oak. The palate is rich, soft and almost slippery with great length and texture and a finish that doesn’t stop. Delicious and ready to drink now.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

95 POINTS - 2014 Jeanneret Old Vine Grenache “This is gracefully maturing and beautifully complex on the nose showing dried cherry, game, leather, assorted nut and cake spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and supple. The wine offers gorgeous flowing mouthfeel, leading to a persistent velvety finish. At its best: now 2022.” Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
