Jeanneret WinesCabernet Malbec 2017
About this product
Almost black with a bright purple rim. Impossibly rich nose of cassis and red berries with big spicy notes complimenting the medley of aromas. The palate is textured and mouth watering with great firmness and grip from the cabernet and a big fleshy middle thanks to that fantastic, dark, savoury malbec. It’s very, very approachable now and will gain character and complexity over the next 5 years or so.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Cabernet blended with Malbec is so 'Clare Valley'. This Jeanneret version is right on the money. The rich, expressive fruit is grown in some of the best dirt in the Clare Valley, and it shows. Beautifully ripened with generous, plush plum and mulberry flavours. Fresh and immediately appealing, yet with the structure to last.
